Ode to The Shining

I figure the perfect way to resurrect Dark Side imagery is with some Grade A weirdness.

I was at the WPPI convention in Vegas last week hanging out with all my favorite photographer cohorts. Melissa and Heather had an epic day thrift shopping and came back with a car full of costumes.  When I saw these matching dresses, I knew the shot that I had to take.

Later on this year, I will be taking more Shining-like photos, at the real Stanley Hotel in Estes Park!  I booked a Halloween themed wedding on October 29th with a cool couple from Manhattan.  I’m super psyched for that one!  I’m thinking that I will check out the Shining Ball the next night after the wedding and see what that is all about as well.  Good times!
