More info on Lactic Acid and its function in sports

I posted an article a while ago which outlines how the basic scientific understanding of lactic acid has been wrong all along.  I was thinking about it this weekend, and I was wondering what does in fact cause the burn if lactic acid is not to blame?  It turns out that it is hydrogen ions.  Check out this article for more information.  http://cytosport.com/science/lacticacid.html
