I frequently receive payment checks like that from health insurance companies that don't want to pay health care providers what we bill! More checks are under $5 than you know! That is why I am most likely closing my practice! Costs me more to bill out than the money I will receive! I agree with Gary on donating the Gov't checks to homeless kids. You think that is bad. A couple of years ago, I received a check from my state (I believe) for $0.19. My g/f received one for $0.34. Somebody needs to enact a national law that says "If you are supposed to receive a check, and the check amount is less than a dollar, you either have to pick up the check yourself, or it will be automatically donated to help homeless children in American.
