When I went shooting in the desert last year I took a whole lotta photos. I took so many that I got intimidated on the editing. I picked my favorites and moved on. Yesterday I was looking for a background for my PHOTO MYSPACE PAGE, and I was digging though the untapped textures folder and found this cool one. Speaking of Myspace, I tried to find myself and I learned that there are 24 guys with the screen name “Steve Z” on there! That just weirds me out, I mean, how can they be Steve Z? I’m Steve Z dammit!

Here is one for everyone who is sick of pics of the Flatirons. The lower fog cloud and upper cloud make this one for me. Well, I’m leaving this freezing rain zone for a couple days to drink wine and visit the family in Napa. Look for some adorable pics of the nephews later next week. Happy Easter, eat some marshmallow peeps for me!

Midway down the canyon today, I slammed on the brakes and whipped a U-ey. I decided on a whim to do something that I’ve never done before: take the 50 yard hike to check out Boulder Falls. Well, now I know why I never hear anyone talking about it. A bit underwhelming, I guess I just thought they would be … bigger?

So we went up to Frozen Dead Guy Days to take some fun photos. Unfortunately, a wet blizzard rolled in and foiled my plan. We were underprepared for the cold whether, and ran for cover after the parade. I didn’t even get to see Grandpa. OK, next year … in the meantime, more photos of fog.

While it was cold, dark, and freezing in town, the sun was rising and warming the fog from above. Tough to make out in this mini-image, but I like the bits of power lines in Louisville protruding out of the middle of the cloud mass.
