I manifested a broken monitor
I don’t have any new photos to post. My excuse is that my desktop monitor blew up, and I’m sticking to it.
The funny part is that I’ve been wondering about how accurately the color calibration on the ol’ Lacie Electron Blue 22 has been working lately. Pictures on it seem really bright and really green compared to my laptop. I was at the photo printer yesterday picking up photos, and I inquired about how much color balancing they have to do to my photos. I told them that I was asking because I didn’t quite trust my monitor, and that I sort of wanted a new one. That night, out of nowhere, the thing just blew up. Dead. Moral: Be careful what you wish for.

Get yourself a Colorvision Spyder2Pro to calibrate your monitor(s). I have one and absolutely love it, makes it way easier to deal with my images on both my laptop and my desktop (I know what I’m seeing in one is what I am seeing in the other…)
