Welcome to The Dark Side

Thanks for visiting my personal blog!  This is the place where I publish photos and ramblings that don't quite fit in with the image of my "professional blog" - AKA "The Light Side".  Whatever that means.  You can view all my professional wedding, portrait, and business photography portfolios by clicking the 'Portfolio' link above. But if you want to check out Everything Else, read on.

Wedding Photos and Slideshow from the Pastures of Plenty

.: CLICK HERE FOR PHOTO SLIDESHOW OF SARAH AND JEREMY’S WEDDING ON ITS OWN PAGE:.

Ah, the long awaited photos and slideshow from Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding are here. Well maybe you weren’t waiting for them, but some people have been. I wrote about the venue in an older post. Once again I was blessed with overcast skies for shadow-less faces for most of the day. I love it when that happens!

The flower girl walking down the aisle was pretty much the sweetest thing ever! She was handing flowers to everyone; sooooo cute. Then right behind her was her older brother, throwing a tantrum the whole way! Sooooo funny!

When in doubt of a backdrop for the groomsman shots, I opt for power tools or heavy machinery.

Right when Sarah, Jeremy, and I of us broke off from the scene for the Couple’s Photo Shoot, the clouds broke and the sun popped out for some dramatic lighting. I love it when the clouds part for me!

Both Jeremy and this guy were throwing down the breakdancing moves in the grass. I’ll be interested to know what the tux rental place had to say about the grass stains on his shirt and vest!

The day was a smashing success. Perfect venue, beautiful people, beautiful flowers, great food, and no one’s face got smashed with cake. Sarah agreed to participate in a post-wedding photo shoot in her wedding dress on their matching motocross bikes, and you KNOW Jeremy is all about it!

October 12, 2007 - 9:21 am Sarah & Jeremy - From a friend of my mother who wasn't able to make the wedding who viewed the slideshow... “I’m speechless. Tears were welling up in my eyes the whole time. I love so many of them, but my favorites are 52, 56, 59 and 61. Stunning, absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing.”

June 2, 2008 - 11:52 pm San Francisco Weddings - Different and refreshing. I've helped coordinate weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most wedding photography seems to look the same after a while. These are progressive. The photo of the bride and groom at the bottom of the page is timeless. Well done.

June 15, 2008 - 2:23 pm kelly lee raymond - this is totally amazing, I followed a link from my good friends maryandbenwedding.com to your website and I actually know Sarah and Jeremy, Sarah and I were roommates in the late 90's when she and Jeremy first started dating. You did and amazing job as I miss my old friends I am very happy that you will be part of my new friends special day too.
