Daily Photos - Hall Ranch is Dry!
Hall Ranch was absolutely beautiful on this second day of spring. A snow covered Long’s Peak was a fine backdrop at the top of the loop. Don’t ride your bike in the grass around the visitor’s center in Lyons though. I was treated to seven goat heads in my front and rear tires at the start of the ride. My lungs and back reminded me that March is too early in the year to think about cleaning the uphill on a singlespeed. I did clean it to the trials corner before I ran out of juice to pull off the hopping turn maneuver. Back in town I found a little dirt pile with a kicker. Hot Rob showed me up photographically, and snapped the best jump shot on his first try. Timing the action shots is pretty tough with the mini-cam!
