I went to a slideshow a few weeks ago at the Boulder Co-op. At the show, someone was giving away these blue ribbon magnets that said “Rank Incompetence”. I suppose that the message is supposed to be Anti-W, however there is no way I’d ever put any magnet ribbon on any kind on my car, for fear that someone at a distance would not read it and just insinuate my message. There weren’t too many takers for these guys so on the way out I grabbed the whole stack and started sticking them on cars downtown and taking pictures. I was laughing to think of what the varied reactions of these people will be when they figure out that they were ‘tagged’. For the last one I found this VW bus, perfect! I’ll have to go back and see if they are still there! Unfortunately I couldn’t find any cars with the usual ribbons, I wanted to do a little switcheroo, but that’s Boulder for you.
